Valeria Vera-Crespo is a DMV-born-and-raised, Bolivian-American production designer and creative director based in Los Angeles. She specializes in creating stylized, immersive visuals for digital and print media, with a focus on community building and lasting cultural impact through storytelling.
Eventually moving West to explore and study her passions in art, music, and film, she graduated from the University of Southern California with a Bachelor of Arts in public relations and minors in cinematic arts and music production. During her final year at USC, she built a bilingual international campaign promoting the partnership between LAFC x Apple TV, and also designed two thesis films, which both entered the film festival curcuit worldwide and are available for streaming on Kanopy.
Currently, Valeria is a freelance production designer and was one of four selected from over 2,300 applicants to design a short film executive produced by Issa Rae in collaboration with ColorCreative's Find Your People Program. Most recently, she designed a Spotify campaign displayed in Times Square and on billboards across Los Angeles, celebrating the artistry and partnership between Black artists and their managers. She continues to collaborate on impactful projects, shaping compelling visual narratives that push creative boundaries in film, digital media, and live entertainment.
