VALERIA VERA-CRESPO
/vuh-lair-ee-uh/

Valeria Vera-Crespo is a Bolivian-American production designer based in Los Angeles, born and raised in Falls Church, Virginia. Her interest in storytelling and world building started at a young age; by the time she was eight, she was enthralled by the limitless nature of the world of theater. From making aged busts of cast members in high school productions to building time-period specific locations for the stage, her problem-solving and resoursefulness for set design and fabrication jumped to the next level.
Eventually moving West to explore and study her passions in art, music, and film, she graduated from the University of California with a Bachelor of Arts in public relations and minors in cinematic arts and music production. During her four years, she built a bilingual international campaign for LAFC x Apple TV and designed two thesis films, which both entered the film festival curcuit worldwide. After graduating, Valeria was selected to join ColorCreative's Find Your People Program as a production designer in their 2024 cohort. Most recently, she designed a Spotify campaign shown on billboards in Times Square and various areas in Los Angeles.
Valeria specializes in world-building highly stylized visuals for film and live music sets, in hopes to create significant cultural impact and emphasize the beauty there is to offer from our evolving world.
On top of that, she loves to sing, paint, garden, and learn new recipes in her spare time.
